CyberWarrior Academy is a Cybersecurity bootcamp and apprenticeship program that delivers field-ready InfoSec talent. The training is intensive, pragmatic, hands-on, and delivered by Cybersecurity practitioners and white-hat hackers with day to day exposure to the rapidly changing threat landscape.
Cybersecurity jobs are among the fastest growing in the U.S., with Burning Glass reporting 73% growth from 2007-2012 and expectations for growth at 37% for 2012-2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Entry-level pay for InfoSec Analysts easily exceeds $70,000 per year yet average pay for Cybersecurity positions exceeds $100,000 USD (vs $50,000 USD for Help Desk Analysts).
Students will develop the technical competency to deliver immediate value to sponsor employers. Recruitment will focus on minority, women, and veteran candidates, and will be drawn from sponsor companies, community colleges, and other workforce development programs.
